  • Solution

    In May of 2003, InSite User Registration was launched on the Startribune.com Web site. The process was instituted using a threshold model, allowing visitors to click through 20 pages before being prompted to register with the site. The homepage of the Web site also included a note from the editor explaining why visitors were being asked to register.
